This happened about 2 weeks ago, and quite afew have heard this from me, but I think it's funny...I still laugh when I think about it....I know Ee May does ;P
Waking up late one morning, I quickly packed my breakfast and lunch provisions into my bag, apples, pears, and tomato and avocado for my sandwich.
Halfway to work while waiting for the pedestrian light to turn green, I see a lady on a wheelchair wheeling past me with a sandwich on her lap and it dawned upon me....."YIKES!!! I forgot to pack ham, cheese and bread for my sandwich!!!!!"
It wasn't quite funny that morning, but it is now.. =P
Hope that made you smile =)

This that the other
I realized that over these few years, I’ve been rushing everywhere. Rushing to chase the bus to get to uni, rushing to work, rushing home from work (to avoid walking in the dark, or to walk faster if I’m already in the dark, to get out of the cold), rushing to go out, rushing to catch the plane, rushing here, there …EVERYWHERE..
As I was walking home from work today, I realized the above and I decided to just take a stroll home and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds around me. Armed with my mp3 player with the Michael Buble songs, the sights just made me feel as though I was part of some movie (I’ll think of one and maybe put up a picture)….makes me feel good =) I really LOVE that feeling =)))
Part of my daily route includes walking past this really huge mansion like building with large large gardens which prolly needs lots of TLC. Well, I bet that it was a really posh mansion in it’s heydays, I can just imagine people driving up to the doorstep and doormen opening the car doors ala olden-time-poshness. Well, back to the garden, lately, they’ve been putting lots of smelly manure fertilizer in the garden. That makes it not so posh la..but it's still poshy-ish..=P
I’ve been down with ANOTHER cold, my nose just keeps running, and it’s also taken away my sense of smell and I can’t quite breathe in the air conditioned office. People usually go out to the park out in front for “smoko” breaks, Today, I had to run out to the park just to gasp for abit of fresh air.
At this point, you must all be wondering how all the above relate to one another….
You see, I was taking my stroll home and I was walking past that mansion place that has the smelly fertilizer and I realized that I could smell the SMELLINESS of the fertilizer!!!!!!!! Not that I like the smell la kay. It just means that I’ve gotten my sense of smell back!!! Now I’ve just got to wait for the swelling on my left eye to go away…..
