Being down with a flu(cough, core throat, headache, body aches, the whole works except fever) was definately the last thing on my mind for this whole time. However, I was and still am stuck with this flu that's plagued me from last week(this is one of my worst bouts of flu) which left me in bed for about 4 days(aside from church, exam, and meals), a voice or the lack of it which would most definately allow me to fill in the need for male voices in my church's easter choir, and also the fact that no one can understand me when i speak, cos people just think that i'm mumbling my way through. I was actually wondering if my voice had really turned so bad until i had to call telekom103directory for a number which confirmed it.

Me : Uh-Hello
Lady-on-the-other-end : Hi, this is Telekom 103 directory, how may i help you Sir?
Me : *Shocked* ..... ????
Me : I need the number for this seafood restaurant in PJ
Lady : Just a moment sir,
Me : (what the....)
Lady : I'm sorry sir, but the number for this seafood restaurant in PJ doesn't seem to be listed
Me : oh, really, can you try using this name instead?
Lady : okay, just a moment, sir.
Me : (getting alittle annoyed, but.....oh wells....)
Lady : i'm sorry sir, but i realy can't seem to find any number to that name
Me : it's okay then, thanks, bye
Lady : have a nice day sir.
Me : yea, sure! you too..

The next conversation double confirms the severity of my voice's condition

Me: Hello aunty!
Aunt : Hie, Kuan-ah? Aiyo, you okay anot? you sound like a man!!
Me: ha...that bad ah.. no wonder the telekom people call me sir that day!
Aunt: hahaha, yahlor...
